Do you know that picture you can't see at once and you have to use the scroll bar to see what's left? And those that are so small you can't even figure out what it is? Thinking about how to show images, videos, tables and graphs is quite important. This kind of content, in most cases, needs to appear complete on the screen, but can not be reduced to the point of harming the information they bring.

Below there is the example of DASartes magazine whose grid doesn't favor the proportions of the content. In this case, it could have been divided into more columns, or even make the content expandable. On the other hand, Aesthetica Magazine makes a better use of the structure, keeping balance between content and blank spaces.

#5 Proportions!

In this case, there is a sense of emptiness, an excess of white space suggests that either the images or text could be expanded.

In this example we see how the grid better integrated content, and yet preserved the blank spaces.
